SHIMANO Dura-Ace SPD SLR PD-R9300 pedal with cleats

An evolution of the SPD-SL platform, Shimano’s SPD-SLR technology is an integrated system (pedal, cleat and shoe) designed to maximise power transfer, stability and responsiveness:

– Ultra-low stack height (-2.3 mm): Reduces the distance between the foot and the pedal spindle, ensuring a closer interface with the spindle for superior stability, optimised control and a more efficient pedalling action.
– Faster, more natural engagement: The engagement angle, reduced to 10.5° (compared to 15.5° in the previous technology), and a wide catch area allow the shoe to engage with the pedal instantly when accelerating or setting off.
– Ultra-lightweight design: The redesigned cleats reduce weight by up to 22 per cent whilst ensuring maximum durability.
– Intuitive positioning and adjustment: High-contrast markers simplify the alignment and precise fitting of the cleats.
