MIPS® system: An advanced, multi-directional sliding solution integrated into the helmet, designed to mitigate rotational forces resulting from oblique impacts. In the event of an impact involving rapid head rotation, the stresses placed on brain tissue can cause injuries, some of which may be severe. MIPS® technology replicates the brain’s natural protective mechanism via an inner layer that rotates slightly upon impact, helping to dissipate and reduce the amount of energy transferred to the head.
