Featured Fabrics
POLAR is a medium-weight (250 g/m²) non-run-prone fabric, characterised by a soft, brushed inner surface that minimises bulk, allowing it to retain heat without adding extra volume. The fabric is made from 50% pre-consumer recycled polyamide, helping to reduce its environmental impact without compromising performance.
Construction and fit
Assos’ slim regularFit, combined with an anatomical cut, reduces the number of seams and minimises friction, ensuring total comfort and a simple fit. The raw-cut waistband and ankles feature a slight compression finish that helps to minimise bulk.
Engineering
- rollBar: a patented reinforcement design, derived from the Racing series. It stabilises the chamois and keeps it in place during weight shifts in sprints, climbs and corners.
- zeroPressure waistband: a waistband constructed from a soft, highly elastic material, designed to enhance comfort and support without causing pressure or pinching.
- Raw-edge finish: a race-inspired construction featured at the ankles and waistband, creating a flat finish to offer unrestricted comfort and a low-volume profile.
- MILLE GT S11 INSERTS:
- Mono 12 shock absorber: layers of compression foam integrated into a durable 12 mm platform. The thermoformed moulding reduces ridges and irritation.
- 3D Waffle: patented three-layer perforated foam that enhances breathability and reduces excess weight.
- goldenGate 2.0: a free-form structure designed to move with the body rather than resist its movements. New cut-outs on the wings reduce friction whilst cycling.
